Psychiatric Rehabilitation is a community-based service designed to support individuals living with mental health challenges.

We help clients develop the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to live more independently and reduce the need for higher levels of care such as hospitalization or residential treatment.

We support individuals ages 5–65+ with diagnosed mental health conditions, including:

  • ADHD
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Schizophrenia

Our program serves both youth and adults, with services tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and life stage.

Eligibility:

  • Maryland Medicaid required
  • Must be actively engaged in therapy for at least 45 days

We partner with licensed mental health professionals to support individuals in need of PRP services. To refer, client must be in therapy for at least 45 days and referral must come from a licensed provider

Tiffany Ransome
PRP Counselor

Tiffany Ransome is a dedicated mental health professional and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Coordinator with a strong background in community-based services. She is passionate about supporting individuals and families through compassionate care, skill-building, and resource connection. Tiffany brings a holistic approach to her work, integrating emotional wellness, personal growth, and culturally responsive practices to empower clients on their journey toward stability and independence.

Andrea Murray
Rehabilitation Specialist, CRNP

Andrea Murray, MPH, CPRP, is a highly skilled Rehabilitation Specialist and Program Coordinator with more than 18 years of experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges through person-centered psychiatric rehabilitation services and community support. She specializes in developing individualized rehabilitation plans, facilitating life-skills development, providing crisis intervention, and coordinating multidisciplinary care to improve functional outcomes and quality of life. Andrea’s background includes supervising PRP teams, enhancing documentation and compliance systems, and developing recovery-focused programs that align with behavioral health standards. Andrea holds a Master of Public Health from Walden University and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Andrews University, integrating her public health knowledge into improving service delivery, community health access, and recovery-based outcomes.

Heather M. Cain
PRP Coordinator, LCPC

Heather M. Cain, LPC, LCPC is a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of

experience in the mental health field. After earning her Bachelor’s degree from Oregon

State University, she moved to California, where she worked with children with special

needs and supported survivors at a domestic violence shelter in Watts, Los Angeles.

She went on to obtain a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis

on Marriage and Family Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles in 2010.

Heather later relocated to the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area,

where she continued her work in mental health. She is licensed to practice in

Washington, D.C. (Licensed Professional Counselor), and Maryland (Licensed Clinical

Professional Counselor) and is certified to supervise pre-licensed clinicians. She is

passionate about working with women of color who are experiencing imposter

syndrome symptoms, need assistance with accomplishing goals, are demonstrating

symptoms of anxiety and symptoms of depression.

In addition to working in the private sector, Heather teaches at the collegiate level, and

facilitates mental health workshops at companies and faith based institutions.

Driven by a deep passion for the mental and emotional well-being of others, Heather is

devoted to helping individuals reach their highest mental, emotional, and spiritual

potential. Her mission centers on healing, strengthening, and equipping others—

grooming leaders and enlightening employees on the vital connection between wellness

and both professional and personal success.
